The project attempts a compartmentalised study of six papers dealing with the profit making practices of a multi-national bank as a sales machine. The researcher is interested in thinking through the ways in which the entry of a mutli-national bank into a small town transforms financial practices by introducing new modes of work practice, consumption and saving.
