The Waag Society is Sarai-CSDS's long term partner in Amsterdam. The Waag Society is the name of what started in 1994 as 'Society for old en new Media -de Waag'. Today, Waag Society has grown into an institution that is active in the fields of networked art, healthcare, education and internet related issues like bandwidth and copyright.

Ankur, Delhi

For the last five years Sarai-CSDS have collaborated with Ankur, a Delhi-based NGO working in the area of critical pedagogy and alternatives in education in working-class areas, on the Cybermohalla project.
The project works with young people living in slum settlements and working class neighourhoods. It brings together the energies of community based social intervention, while remaining alert to the imperatives of social and cultural specificity and autonomy.
