These were played off two monitors placed next to each other. One was a 17" television monitor placed on a table, the other was an 8" monitor placed flat like an open book. The same images get played with a fraction of a second’s difference. One is viewed like a televised narrative, the other is read like a book. The video loop used still images, photographs, image collections, film clippings, and documentary footage. The video loop was a preview to an archive of visual cultures, cinematic renditions of popular songs, transforming cinema spaces, and pulp fiction. It is a window into the world of new economy labour, student politics and local trains.
