Working Questions: An Exhibition
This curated journey gathered together a wide and various range of audio-visual and print material from Sarai’s archives, collected and produced by Independent Fellows. It featured photographic work, graphic panels, audio and visual loops, and short films from research areas as diverse as Jazz in Bollywood, glass negatives from early cinema, signage in the Indian city, digital imaging in photo studios, street musicians, video theaters, and much more.
The exhibition framed and brought into relationship, explorations and evocations from worlds both connected and disparate, networked and isolated. It positioned individual practice with collective exposition and suggested a density of experience that the Independent Fellowship Programme had gathered in the last 7 years.
