1. Fanna [2006]

Tyagi [Tabu] is speculating about the mastermind behind the recent bomb blasts. She feels that the deadly face of a terrorist with blood shot eyes was a thing of the past. The present day terrorist was a man who thinks. He is a planner. No one knows his name or his past. When and where he comes from. No one knows. He could be anyone or no one. He could be the one sitting beside you in a theatre or a local train, or a bank’s teller or a cigarette/ tobacco vendor. He is intelligent. And dangerous. He has to be found. Because if he's allowed to move around freely, he wouldl take terrorism to a level beyond anyones imagination because no ones imagination is like his.

ACP Shonali Bose [ Bipasha Basu] is giving a presentation about "A" to a select gathering of Bombay police officers…
Shonali Bose: "A"! The smartest and the coolest thief in the world… smart because he dares to do the impossible… and cool because after every theft he leaves no clue except for his symbol "A". We don’t know anything else about him. We don’t have a face nor a clue.
A Senior officer cuts in: No Description? No sketch?-
Shonali Bose: Nothing Sir. From Argentina to Japan all the thefts were pull off in disguise. He stole the Queen's crown by becoming the Queen. He is a master of disguise. No one knows how he vanished from the train… He only steals unique objects…
Senior officer:Did you notice any pattern or something special?
Shonali Bose: His specialty lies in his modus operandi. He robs randomly... it is impossibly to find a pattern…
Inspector Jai: He is already in town. And if my guess is right then he is one step ahead of us. Mr "A" robs in disguise but wants the whole world to know who he is. He thinks he is an artist, not a thief, an unknown artist. Such an artist that though he is among us, yet hidden. You can’t look for him but you can catch him, but its going to be tough. He is the perfect thief.   

 
3. Krrish [2006]

Rohit Arya, a gifted scientist from India, designs software that can predict the future. The 'password' for accessing the software is a combination of a retina scan and a heart beat scan. For running the software, however, one has to apply an impression of one’s hand. The scanner scans the palm lines and fingerprints to process the relevant information unique to an individual and predicts the future. 


4. Omkara  [2006]

The film is an adaptation of Shakespeare’s ‘Othello’. Towards the end of the film Langda Tyagi [Saif] uses cell phones to create virtual identities to convince Omi [ Ajay Devgan] that Kesu [Vivek Oberroi] is having an affair with Omi’s fiancée Dolly [Kareena Kapoor].

Pankaj Kapur as Bhole Shankar Tiwari a lecturer in a university specializing in Information Technology takes tutorials for the Special Task Force. He teaches them the nitty gritties of conducting telecom surveillance. The STF learns to track mobile phone conversations, locate incoming and outgoing calls to a particular tower, thus zeroing in to a geographical location. This significant change in methodology helps them hunt down members of the dreaded organized mafia.

Veer Pratap Singh [Shahrukh Khan] is captured in Pakistan on charges of espionage. His passport and other identity papers are confiscated and destroyed. His identity is lost and he cannot prove to the judges who he is.

Arun Kumar [Sunny Deol] a RAW agent, is master of disguise. He changes many faces, assumes numerous persona, to get through to the heart of Pakistani intelligence network, bent on supplying a Kashmiri  separatist group with nuclear weapons.


8. December 16 [2002]

A group of ex army special forces commandos are brought together as a team by their former boss now deputed to revenue intelligence.
In one sequence, the team’s chief Vikram [Milind Soman] lets a captured suspected terrorist escape. As soon as the suspected terrorist scales down a highly fenced jail gate, he is knocked unconscious.

He wakes up in what seems like a camp, somewhere in Afghanistan, which of course is a set up. The suspected terrorist meets a man, who sounds and appears like his chief and gives him all the details about the upcoming operation in India. The intelligence officers now know everything about the plan and it is a matter to time before they foil it and nab the criminals. 

 
9. Ek Choti Si Love Story [2002]

Aditya [Aditya Seal] is fifteen. He lives in a housing society apartment with his grandmother in Mumbai. Manisha [Manisha Koirala] is 26 and she lives in the building opposite Aditya’s apartment. The film is about Aditya’s obsession for this older woman. Aditya’s voyeurism is channeled through his telescope, as he spends days and nights watching Manisha unwittingly revealing her most intimate life.

 
10. Duplicate [1998]

Manu Dada [Shahrukh Khan], the bad guy, not only burns his thumbs but also of his lookalike Bablu Chahdhary [Shahrukh Khan] so as to burn away their fingerprints. This would enable him to take on  good guy Bablu's identity, while Bablu would languish in jail. 
 

11. Jagte Raho [1956]

 A poor peasant [Raj Kapoor] comes to the city in search for work. He strays inside an apartment block where the security guards/night watch men/Chowkidars mistake him for a thief. He is chased around by the armed resident collective till he understands the tricks to mingle in the crowd and walk free.
