- Manipur minister's guard shot dead: The Times of India, 2nd Feburary 2007.IMPHAL: The security guard of a Manipur minister was shot dead by a colleague at the minister's private residence in Bishenpur district, officials said on Friday.
- US Army admits private security contract in Iraq: The Indian Express, 8th Feburary 2007.After numerous denials, the Pentagon has confirmed that a North Carolina company provided armed security guards in Iraq under a sub-contract that was buried so deeply the government could not find it.
- Pvt guards protest non-payment: The Times of India, 17th June, 2005:" A few days back, the 20-odd private security guards manning Humayun's Tomb -- went on a flash strike to protest alleged non-payment of wages".
