Cybermohalla Foundation Workshop
1 - 30 May, 2001
(Sarai CSDS in collaboration with Ankur Society for Alternatives in Education)
| Excerpts from the Cybermohalla Diary, 2001 These entries were posted on the internal discussion list at Sarai, as part of a process of routine internal discussion and reflection on all Sarai activities. They are a faithful record of the achievements, the learning process (both for the workshop animators and the participants) and the problems that were faced in the course of opening out the domain of digital culture to a group of young people who had never before encountered a computer. The entries are arranged chronologically and cover a period from May 1 to July 16, 2001. The workshop animators were Joy Chatterjee, Jeebesh Bagchi Monica Narula, Ruchika Aggarwal, Shuddhabrata Sengupta and Pankaj Kaushal, from the core team from the Sarai Media Lab, who along with Ashish Mahajan (Sarai) and Prabhat Jha (Ankur) work on the project to develop solutions to problems of pedagogy and creativity literally on an everyday basis.
