 World Information City Conference
The conference segment of World Information City brought together panels, discursive and research based presentations and conversations on “Information” and the “City” as societal and political realities, with a particular emphasis on their interrelationships. In this manner, the conference was able to speak not only to the broad themes of information, society, politics and history but also to the concrete realities of “World Information Cities.

"World-Information.Org Bangalore 2005" was part of the EU-India-ECCP-Programme "Towards a Culture of Open Networks – a collaborative initiative on bridging information society in Europe and India through culture and communication". Sarai CSDS (Delhi), Waag Society (Amsterdam) and the Alternative Law Forum (Bangalore).
